Dream it.

Being a part of something bigger. As a young parent and District 1 resident, Claudia sought to fill a void in her community. She wanted a place for families to call their own, to organize around education and childhood development, and to build community. aMuse Toys filled that role, serving the Baltimore area for 20 years. Offering a curated selection of playthings set to inspire, celebrate, and engage while helping caregivers meet childhood challenges through play, always offering a wide range of products representing the wonderful diversity of many cultures, races, ethnicities, and families in our community.

Build it.

Back in the day when listserves were a thing, Claudia and fellow community members gathered to create opportunities around school choice in District One. After door-knocking, hosting information sessions, and serving as a lead Maryland Charter School Network volunteer for both English and Spanish-speaking community members, Claudia became a founding board member of Patterson Park Charter School. To help with outreach and language barrier deficiencies within the community Claudia volunteered for a full-time position as Family Liaison and worked to bring Spanish to the classroom at no cost to the school operator for two years.
